A long time ago, I wrote a tiny snippet about the Wild Divine Project. This is a great set of Myst-like games that use a biofeedback device attached to your fingers for certain actions. It really does work. Using the game, I learned to control my heart rate - speeding it up and slowing it down as demanded
I'm happy to see that Penn State's HealthMatters program is offering a session on the use of the Wild Divine game to introduce you to biofeedback. It's only $5, and only a few hours of time. Well worth it, IMO. The only problem I see is that you will want the game after you leave the session - and the bundle is currently ~$200. A bit steep, but you do get the biofeedback hardware with it, and if you really use it there are health benefits.
